FH6 Barn Finds — All 14 Locations & Cars
Every barn find in Forza Horizon 6, with exact map coordinates, unlock triggers, and what car you get.
What Are Barn Finds in FH6?
Barn Finds are a beloved Forza Horizon tradition — hidden derelict cars scattered across the map, waiting to be discovered and restored to their former glory. Forza Horizon 6 features 14 barn finds spread across its diverse new map, each offering a unique vehicle that cannot be obtained through any other means. Some are rare classics, others are high-performance icons, and a few are genuine meta contenders for online racing.
How Barn Finds Work
The barn find system in FH6 follows the same pattern as previous Forza Horizon games with some refinements. Barn finds are not immediately discoverable — they unlock gradually as you progress through the game. Each barn find becomes available at a specific player level, story completion milestone, or seasonal rotation. When a barn find unlocks, a rumor appears on the map showing a rough location (a circular search zone approximately 200-300 meters in diameter). You must drive to the zone and find the actual barn structure to trigger the discovery.
After discovery, the vehicle is sent to your garage and begins restoration. Restoration takes real time — from 30 minutes for basic barn finds to 4 hours for rare vehicles. You can speed up restoration using credits (approximately 10,000 CR per hour remaining) or by simply playing the game while the timer runs. Once restored, the vehicle is delivered to your garage free of charge with a unique "Barn Find" designation and a weathered paint job that cannot be replicated.
A new feature in FH6 is the Barn Find Rumor Board in the Horizon Festival HQ. This board shows all unlockable barn finds, their unlock conditions, and how close you are to meeting each condition. It replaces the old system of randomly receiving rumors and gives you clear progression targets. Check the rumor board regularly to plan your barn find hunting.
There are 12 standard barn finds plus 1 story completion reward and 1 seasonal barn find, for a total of 14 barn finds in Forza Horizon 6. The standard barn finds are spread across all biomes: Farmlands, Eastern Coast, Central Highlands, Forest Region, Downtown, Coastal Cliffs, Industrial District, Mountain Pass, City Center, Resort Area, Volcano Region, and Hidden Canyon.

Bonus Barn Finds
Barn Find #13: Story Completion Reward
Unlock: Complete all main Horizon Stories | Vehicle: Random from exclusive pool
After completing all main Horizon Stories in FH6, you receive a bonus barn find rumor for a random vehicle from an exclusive pool. The pool includes the 1997 McLaren F1, 2004 Ferrari Enzo, 1998 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, and 2008 Lamborghini Reventon. The vehicle is randomly assigned per player profile — you cannot choose or change it. The barn location is always the same: an underground bunker beneath the Horizon Festival Main Stage. Access the bunker through a hidden door behind the main stage's rear wall. This barn find has the longest restoration time at 6 hours.
Barn Find #14: Seasonal Barn Find
Unlock: Festival Playlist seasonal completion | Vehicle: Rotates every 4 weeks
The seasonal barn find rotates every Festival Playlist season. Each season, a different rare vehicle is available as a barn find through seasonal event completion (typically completing 50% of seasonal challenges). Seasonal barn finds from past seasons occasionally appear in the Forzathon Shop for 500-800 Forzathon points. Recent seasonal barn finds have included the 2018 Apollo Intensa Emozione, 2020 Gordon Murray T.50, 2013 McLaren P1, and 2008 Maserati MC12 Versione Corsa.
Best Early Barn Finds to Prioritise
Not all Barn Finds are created equal. If you're starting out, focus on these three first — they give you a competitive car much earlier than you'd otherwise unlock it:
- #1 Chevelle SS — Unlocks immediately after the first race. Decent B-class drag and street car with a cheap engine swap.
- #2 RX-7 Spirit R — Available at level 10. With a drift tune, this becomes the best early-game drift car.
- #5 Supra MK4 — Available at level 25. One of the most versatile A-class cars in the game with the right tune.
How to Find Barns Faster
- Open the full map and look for the barn icon (a small shed) — it only appears when you're within ~300 meters.
- Drive along unpaved roads in the suspected region. Barns are almost always off the tarmac.
- If you get a rumble notification but no circle, fly over the area in a fast car and watch for the "Barn Find discovered" popup.
- Use the drone to spot barn roofs — they're the only buildings with rusted corrugated iron roofs in their respective regions.
Pro Tips for Efficient Barn Find Hunting
- Use the Rumor Board — The Barn Find Rumor Board in the Festival HQ is your primary tool. It shows exact unlock conditions for each barn find. Check it after every level-up and story completion.
- Farm player levels quickly — Most barn finds unlock at specific player levels. The fastest way to level up in FH6 is completing Horizon Tour events and seasonal challenges.
- Restore strategically — Prioritize short-restoration barn finds first (1 hour or less) to quickly build your collection. Leave the 4-hour restorations (Venom F5, Eleanor) overnight or while you are away from the game.
- Do not sell immediately — Even valuable barn finds like the 250 GTO may be required for seasonal challenges or Forzathon events later. Keep at least one copy before selling duplicates from the Auction House.
- Mark your map — Use the in-game map marker to tag barn find locations you have discovered but not yet collected. This prevents you from driving past them during normal gameplay.
Restoration Time & Fast-Track Costs
Each Barn Find takes real-time to restore. You can check progress in the Garage > Barn Finds tab. Paying credits speeds up the remaining time:
| Car Rarity | Base Restoration Time | Fast-Track Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Common (Chevelle, Boss 302) | 15 minutes | 5,000 CR |
| Uncommon (RX-7, 22B, GNX) | 30 minutes | 10,000 CR |
| Rare (Supra, 250 GTO, Skyline) | 1 hour | 25,000 CR |
| Epic (GT3 RS, Huracán) | 2 hours | 50,000 CR |
| Legendary (Venom F5, Eleanor) | 4 hours | 100,000 CR |
