1000-hp twin-turbo V8 hybrid vs 1015-hp NA V12 hybrid, which Italian flagship actually dominates FH6?

This is the matchup everyone's been waiting for since the Revuelto dropped. Two Italian legends, both hybrid, both AWD, both absolutely unhinged in the best way possible. The SF90 Stradale was Ferrari's first plug-in hybrid supercar, pairing a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors for a combined 986 hp. The Revuelto is Lamborghini's answer, a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors pushing out 1,001 hp. In FH6 they both sit in S2 class and honestly, picking between them hurts my soul a little. But I've racked up enough laps in both to have opinions.

Performance Analysis

The SF90 is lighter by over 400 lbs and it shows everywhere. Off the line the electric motors fill every gap in the turbo V8's powerband, giving it absolutely brutal acceleration with zero lag. The twin-turbo setup means peak torque hits hard around 2,500 rpm and pulls relentlessly to redline. On tight circuits with lots of braking zones the SF90's lower weight gives it a clear edge, it turns in sharper and carries more mid-corner speed. I've tested this back to back on the same tracks and the Ferrari just rotates better.

But the Revuelto fights back in two areas: top-end pull and raw drama. That NA V12 revs to 9,500 rpm and the sound is genuinely spine-tingling. No turbo muffling, no hybrid whine drowning things out, just a twelve-cylinder symphony that gets more addictive with every gear change. On high-speed tracks with long straights the Revuelto's horsepower advantage starts mattering, and the active aero gives it more planted stability above 150 mph. The SF90 gets a bit floaty at those speeds tbh.

Driving Feel

The SF90 is surgical. The steering is laser-precise, the brake-by-wire system gives you incredible modulation into corners, and the hybrid system's torque vectoring pulls you out of apexes in ways that shouldn't be physically possible. But ngl, it can feel like a very fast computer. The experience is so polished that some of the danger and excitement gets sanitized away. You're fast but you're also a little detached.

The Revuelto is the opposite: theatrical, intimidating, demands your full attention. The V12 behind your head vibrates through the entire chassis, the dual-clutch gearbox slams shifts with genuine violence, and the rear-biased AWD system will absolutely let you slide if you ask it nicely. It's heavier and you feel it in slow corners, but on fast sweeping bends the extra mass actually helps stability. Every lap feels like an occasion rather than just another run.

SF90 Stradale for lap times, Revuelto for the experience. If you're a competitive tryhard who treats FH6 like iRacing, the SF90 is the faster car point blank. The weight advantage and turbo torque make it the better tool for winning S2 road races, especially on technical circuits where every pound matters.

But if you play FH6 to drive, to actually feel something in your soul while playing a video game, the Revuelto is the clear winner. That V12 is a dying breed and experiencing it here, even virtually, is special. Get both if you have the credits. I did, zero regrets on either.
