The Veyron Super Sport is a physics textbook. An 8.0-liter W16, four turbochargers, 1200 hp, 1838 kg — put those numbers together and you know this is a car that owns straights and dies in corners. Nothing to be done about it; the Veyron's design goal was breaking the 400 km/h barrier, and cornering was never near the top of the priority list. In FH6 the Veyron tops out around 415 km/h, and on the highway basically nobody can even see your taillights.

But FH6 races aren't just highways. Most tracks have corners, and corners are the Veyron's nightmare — 1838 kg with a 70:30 front-to-rear weight distribution (that W16 is just too heavy), and under braking into a corner the whole car's inertia tries to slam your face into the windshield. Don't lose hope, though — the Veyron has AWD and 1200 hp, and those two things claw back the time you lose on entry when you exit. The right strategy: brake down to a speed lower than your rivals, then use the AWD and that monstrous W16 torque to reel everyone back in on corner exit.

S2 stock is the Veyron's sweet spot. Pushing it up to X class isn't worth much — this car's lap-time bottleneck is corners and braking, not horsepower. You've got 1200 hp but can only use less than half of it at any corner exit; the rest just turns into tire heat.

Tuning Parameters — Every Setting Explained

Tire Pressure

Front 33.0 PSI, Rear 32.0 PSI. At 1838 kg this is the heaviest supercar on earth — and the tires are its biggest victim. The front pressure has to be high: the W16 puts 70% of the weight on the front axle, and it's even worse under braking. The rear's 32 PSI helps the contact patch grip on corner exit. For races longer than 5 laps, drop the rear to 31.5, otherwise the tire temps will spike.

Transmission

Final drive ratio: 2.85. The W16 quad-turbo's torque plateau is almost flat from 2000 to 6000 rpm — that 1500 Nm of torque is there most of the time. That means you can stretch the gearing out instead of calculating ratios like you would for a naturally-aspirated engine. A 2.85 final drive makes full use of the Veyron's top-speed potential, while the low-end torque lets it pull straight up from tall gears at low speed.

Alignment

Camber: Front -1.8, Rear -1.2. The Veyron is too heavy — set the camber too high and the tire shoulders wear out early. The -1.8 up front accounts for body roll and keeps the actual contact patch vertical. Toe: Front 0.0, Rear 0.2 in — the Veyron's tail wanders badly under braking, so the rear axle needs stable toe-in. Caster: 6.5.

Anti-Roll Bars

Front 35.0, Rear 30.0. A 1838 kg car needs strong anti-roll bars to control its body attitude. The front bar at 35 fights corner-entry roll — no negotiation; let a car this heavy roll uncontrolled into a corner and you're heading straight for the barrier. The rear bar at 30 is the balance point — any stiffer and the rear axle hops mid-corner, any softer and corner-exit understeer becomes unfixable.

Springs

Front 850 lb/in, Rear 750 lb/in. Stiff, and necessary. With 1838 kg aboard, any front spring under 800 feels like jelly. The rear springs stay slightly softer to preserve corner-exit grip. Lower it 1.0 inch — the Veyron already sits close to the ground stock.

Damping

Rebound: Front 9.5, Rear 9.0. Bump: Front 6.0, Rear 5.5. The Veyron is a nightmare on rough pavement — it's so heavy that you can't run too much bump or the tires will leave the ground. But rebound has to be high, otherwise after one compression the body wallows two or three times before settling.

Aero

The Veyron's aero focus is high-speed stability. In S2 trim, rear wing downforce at 60% (drop to 50% in high-speed mode). The front diffuser and floor are fixed, so the wing is the main adjustable element. On high-speed tracks, drop the wing to 50% to trade for top speed; on twisty tracks, raise it to 70%.

Brakes

Balance: Front 56%, Pressure: 130%. 1838 kg. 300+ km/h. What you need isn't brakes, it's faith. 130% pressure is the baseline. The 56% front balance is because the front axle takes over 70% of the load under braking — don't waste braking force on the rear. Honestly though, even at 130% pressure the Veyron's braking distance is still 20–30 meters longer than its class rivals.

Differential

Center diff: 55% rearward. Front diff: Accel 40%, Decel 20%. Rear diff: Accel 70%, Decel 45%. The rearward center bias slightly improves turn-in understeer, but don't overdo it — the front axle needs power to drag this heavy car out of corners. The 70% rear accel lock makes sure both rear wheels get power, converting as much of that W16 torque into forward motion as possible on exit.

Common Tuning Mistakes

Tuning the suspension like a sports car. 1838 kg is not a 1.3-ton mid-engine supercar. Don't borrow spring, anti-roll bar, or damping settings from lightweight cars. The Veyron's tuning philosophy is "control the weight," not "chase agility."

Setting tire pressure too low. People see high tire temps and drop the pressure — but the Veyron's weight means temps will always be high. Below 30 PSI the tires deform too much under hard braking, and your braking distance actually gets longer.

Expecting too much. The Veyron will never be as corner-agile as a Z06 or TSR-S. Accept that and use the straights to claw back what you lose in the corners. The right lap strategy: be conservative through corners, get on full throttle early on exit, and eat everyone alive on the straights.
