FH6 Seasonal Playlist Guide — How to Get 40 Points Fast Every Week

By Alex Chen · July 25, 2026 · 7 min read

TL;DR

You can hit 40 seasonal points in about 90 minutes. Do The Trial (10 pts), PR stunts (9 pts), EventLab (6 pts), photo challenge (2 pts), weekly Forzathon (5-7 pts), and one seasonal championship (5 pts). Skip the Eliminator, Playground Games, and Horizon Open — they're time-inefficient. The reward cars at 20 and 40 points are exclusive and usually can't be obtained any other way.

How the Playlist Works

The FH6 Festival Playlist refreshes every Thursday at 7:30 AM Pacific. Each week has roughly 15-18 activities worth a specific number of points. You need 20 points for the first reward car and 40 points for the second. The playlist is part of a four-week Series — completing all four weeks to 40 points each unlocks the Series reward (usually 160 total points).

Most events can be completed solo or in co-op. A few — The Trial, Playground Games, Horizon Open — require multiplayer. The key insight: you don't need to do everything. You just need 40 points, and some events are much faster than others.

The 90-Minute Route to 40 Points

Here's the optimal path I run every Thursday. This consistently gets me 40 points in under two hours:

  1. The Trial (10 pts, ~20 min): Start here. It's the most points for a single event. Build or download a tune for the restriction before queuing. If your team loses the first race, don't quit — Trials are best of three and comebacks happen. Finishing top 3 in both races usually carries the team.
  2. Photo Challenge (2 pts, ~1 min): Fastest two points on the playlist. Snap the required car at the required location. Done.
  3. PR Stunts x3 (9 pts, ~10 min): Speed trap, speed zone, danger sign. Use the same car if possible. If you have a maxed-out Jesko or Nevera, most speed traps and zones are one-attempt completions.
  4. EventLab x2 (6 pts, ~12 min): Two quick solo events. Community-created tracks, usually short and fun.
  5. Weekly Forzathon (2 pts + dailies, ~15 min): The chapter challenges are straightforward — drive a specific car, get a specific skill score, win a specific race type. The daily challenges add 1 point each and stack across the week, so you can clean them up over a few days.
  6. Seasonal Championship (5 pts, ~12 min): Three races against Highly Skilled AI. Build a car that fits the restrictions, download a tune, and you'll win all three races by mid-lap 2.

That's roughly 34-36 points in 60-70 minutes. Fill the last 4-6 points with a Horizon Tour (3 pts) and check if any daily challenges have accumulated (up to 3 pts for three days). If you did the Monthly Rivals earlier in the series, those 4 points carry across all four weeks and reduce the weekly burden to 36 points.

Weekly Strategy: Which Events to Prioritize

Not every week is the same. Some weeks the Trial restriction is brutal (stock C-class vintage racers on dirt — looking at you) and the Seasonal Championship is easier. Adapt the route:

Events to Skip (And Why)

Monthly Events: Rivals and Monthly Rivals

Monthly Rivals gives 4 points that apply to all four weeks of a Series. One clean lap around a curated circuit in a provided car. Do it in the first week and you get 4 points per week for 5 minutes of driving — the best points-per-minute ratio on the entire playlist.

Regular Rivals (not Monthly) doesn't give playlist points but is the single best way to earn credits and XP passively. Set a clean lap on any circuit and you'll earn credits every time someone beats your time — which happens constantly on popular tracks.

Reward Cars: Are They Worth It?

Short answer: yes, almost always. The 20-point car typically returns to the playlist or the Forzathon Shop within 2-3 months. The 40-point car can take 6+ months to reappear. If you only have time for one, get the 40-point car. The 20-point car will eventually be available in the Auction House (prices spike early in the week, drop by Sunday-Monday).

One trick: if you complete the playlist on Thursday, any duplicate reward cars you earn can be sold at the Auction House while prices are high. By Sunday, the market floods and prices drop 30-50%. Early birds get the credits.
