FH6 Forzathon Points Guide: Fastest Ways to Earn FP
Published: May 19, 2026 · 9 min read
What Are Forzathon Points and Why Do They Matter?
Forzathon Points (FP) are the premium currency in Forza Horizon 6 that never expires. Unlike Wheelspins or Super Wheelspins, which are random, the Forzathon Shop lets you buy exactly the car, cosmetic, or horn you want — if you have enough FP saved up. The shop rotates weekly and frequently contains exclusive cars that cannot be bought from the Autoshow at any price. If you play FH6 regularly and want to complete your car collection without spending real money, mastering FP earning is essential.
FP can be earned through several channels, and the key to efficient farming is knowing which activities deliver the best FP per minute. Some methods are passive and require almost no effort; others demand focused play time. We will rank them all below.
Horizon Arcade: The FP Backbone
Horizon Arcade events spawn on the map every 15 minutes and are the single best source of FP in FH6. Each Arcade event has 3 rounds, and completing all 3 rewards a significant FP payout. Crucially, Horizon Arcade is cooperative — you share progress with all nearby players and cannot fail as long as someone is participating. Even a partial completion pays out more FP per minute than most other activities.
FP Earnings from Arcade
| Arcade Type | Rounds | Base FP (All 3 Rounds) | Bonus FP (Win) | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drift Arcade | 3 | 20 | 10 | 30 FP |
| Air Arcade | 3 | 20 | 10 | 30 FP |
| Wreckage Arcade | 3 | 20 | 10 | 30 FP |
| Speed Arcade | 3 | 20 | 10 | 30 FP |
| Pursuit Arcade | 3 | 30 | 15 | 45 FP |
Pursuit Arcade — where you chase down AI-controlled target vehicles — pays the most, so prioritize it when it appears. A full Arcade run takes about 10 minutes and earns you 30-45 FP. That is 3-4.5 FP per minute, which is the best rate in the game for casual play.
Pro tip: Arcade events continue even after your team fails to meet a round speed target. You still earn FP for each round completed. Never leave an Arcade early — even a 1-round failure gives you 10 FP for 3 minutes of effort.
Weekly Challenge (The Forzathon Weekly)
Each week, FH6 publishes a four-part Forzathon challenge centered around a specific car or theme. Completing all four chapters rewards 100 FP — the single largest individual FP payout in the game. The challenges are designed to take 20-40 minutes total, but many can be completed in less time if you plan efficiently.
Optimizing the Weekly
- Chapter 1 — Usually "Own and drive the featured car." If you own it already, this completes instantly. If not, check the Auction House for a cheap copy.
- Chapter 2 — Earn a certain number of skill points or complete specific stunts in the car. Use a wide, open area like the airport runway for 60-second completions.
- Chapter 3 — Win a specific race type in the car. Select the shortest eligible race and set difficulty to Highly Skilled or lower for a quick win.
- Chapter 4 — Complete a PR stunt (Speed Trap, Danger Sign, or Speed Zone) in the car. Check the weekly community recommendation for the easiest PR stunt to hit.
Always do the Forzathon Weekly first each Thursday when the playlist resets. It takes less than an hour and gives you 100 FP plus the reward car, which is often exclusive and worth 2-3 million credits on the Auction House.
Daily Challenges
Daily challenges refresh every 24 hours and each one rewards 10 FP. There are 7 per week, for a total of 70 FP if you complete all of them. Individual dailies are simple tasks: take a photo, win a race, complete a Speed Trap, or drive a specific distance in a certain car type. Most take 2-5 minutes.
The math is straightforward: 7 dailies x 10 FP = 70 FP per week. Combined with the 100 FP from the Weekly, that is 170 FP per week from the Festival Playlist alone, assuming roughly 2.5 hours of total play time. That is enough to buy a mid-tier exclusive car from the Forzathon Shop every 2-3 weeks without doing any other FP activity.
Festival Playlist Bonus Rewards
Beyond the Forzathon-specific challenges, the Festival Playlist awards bonus FP for seasonal completion thresholds:
- 50% season completion: 20 FP + a car reward
- 80% season completion: 40 FP + an exclusive car or wheelspin bundle
- 100% series completion (4 seasons): 100 FP bonus + a highly exclusive car
These bonus payouts are significant. Completing just the daily and weekly challenges each week will get you to 50% easily. Pushing to 80% requires doing some of the seasonal championship events, PR stunts, and The Trial (the cooperative-playground PvE race series). The Trial rewards the best FP-per-minute of any seasonal activity if you win — 30 FP in approximately 15 minutes.
Horizon Tour and Other Passive Sources
Horizon Tour, the cooperative multiplayer event that runs continuously, rewards 5 FP per completed tour. Tours take about 10 minutes and the matchmaking is automatic. While 5 FP for 10 minutes is not the best rate, Horizon Tour is the most passive FP source in the game — you can semi-afk drive while watching something on a second monitor and still earn FP.
Accolades also occasionally reward FP. Check the Accolade menu under "Horizon Life" and "Forzathon" categories for one-time FP bonuses. These are not repeatable but provide a nice early-game boost.
What to Buy in the Forzathon Shop
Not all FP shop items are created equal. Some cars rotate through the shop frequently; others appear once and never return. Here is how to prioritize your FP spending:
Priority 1: Exclusive Cars (Must Buy)
- Any car that has never appeared in the Autoshow or as a Festival Playlist reward
- Cars with the "Exclusive" tag in the shop description — these are typically removed after one appearance
- Seasonal exclusive cars tied to real-world events (e.g., Lunar New Year, E3, Gamescom)
Priority 2: Hard-to-Find Cars (Strong Buy)
- Cars that appeared only in past Festival Playlists and cost 20+ million in the Auction House
- Backstage Pass cars that have been out of rotation for more than 6 months
- Limited-production cars like the AMG One, Ferrari Monza SP2, and Porsche 356C/Emory
Priority 3: Wheelspins and Cosmetics (Skip)
- FP wheelspins (75 FP) are overpriced — you are better off saving for a guaranteed car
- Car horns and clothing are cosmetic only and never give gameplay advantage
- Emotes and player titles should only be bought if you are a completionist
FP Earning Summary: Weekly Total
| Activity | FP per Week | Time Required | FP per Minute |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forzathon Weekly | 100 | ~40 min | 2.5 |
| Daily Challenges | 70 | ~35 min (5 min/day) | 2.0 |
| Horizon Arcade (4 sessions/wk) | 120-180 | ~40 min | 3.0-4.5 |
| Seasonal Championships (3/wk) | 60 | ~45 min | 1.3 |
| The Trial | 30 | ~15 min | 2.0 |
| Horizon Tour (passive) | 35-70 | ~70 min | 0.5-1.0 |
| Total (active) | 380-440 | ~2.5-3 hrs | ~2.5 avg |
Final Tips
FP farming does not have to dominate your play time. The most efficient approach is to do the Weekly (Thursday, 40 min), the 7 Dailies (5 minutes each day), and a few Arcade sessions (10 min each, 3-4 times per week). That is roughly 3 hours per week for 350-440 FP, which covers most shop rotations. Anything beyond that — grinding Arcade for hours, farming Horizon Tour — is only necessary if you are saving for a specific 600 FP+ exclusive car. In that case, focus on Pursuit Arcade events as they give the best FP per minute in the game.
