FH6 Corner Exit — The Most Important Part of Any Corner
The corner leading onto a straight is the most important corner on any track. Exit speed determines your speed for the entire straight, and the straight is where lap time lives.
Exit Priority Rule
Sacrifice entry speed for exit speed on any corner leading to a straight longer than 300 meters. Math: 3 mph extra exit × 300m straight = 0.15-0.3 seconds gained. Entry speed sacrificed: 0.05-0.1 seconds lost. Net gain: 0.1-0.25 seconds per corner. Multiply by 10-15 corners/lap = 1-3 seconds without touching your tune.
Rule reverses for corners leading into other corners. If the next corner is 50 meters away, prioritize entry precision — exit speed is wasted because you're braking again immediately.
Throttle Timing
Apply throttle as you unwind the wheel, not before. Throttle before rotation finishes = understeer or oversteer. Throttle too late = time wasted. Optimal full-throttle point: the exact moment front wheels point straight. Find this point for every car and corner.
