️ What can you actually download here?
This page explains where to buy Forza Horizon 6 — it does not host game files or free downloads. FH6 is a paid game (60–100 USD depending on edition). Legitimate downloads are only available through official stores: Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, Steam, and Xbox Game Pass. How Much Does FH6 Cost? Full Price Breakdown
Here are the official US prices across all three editions. Prices are the same across Xbox, PS5, Steam, and Microsoft Store, though regional pricing and retailer sales vary. Steam is usually the first storefront to discount the game, so if you're patient and only play on PC, waiting for a Steam sale is the cheapest way to own it permanently.
| Edition | Price (USD) | What's Included | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $69.99 | Base game only | Most players, or Game Pass |
| Deluxe | $89.99 | Base game + Car Pass (42 cars) + Welcome Pack | Car collectors who want the Car Pass |
| Premium | $99.99 | Everything in Deluxe + VIP (2x credits) + Expansion Pass + early access | Dedicated players who want everything upfront |
If you're weighing Deluxe vs Premium, the deciding factor is the Expansion Pass. The two FH6 expansions will likely cost $30-40 combined if bought separately, so the Premium Edition's $30 premium over Standard effectively bundles VIP and early access for free. If you only care about cars and not expansions or VIP, Deluxe is the right middle ground. If you're not sure at all, start on Game Pass and upgrade later — the Premium upgrade add-on is available on both Xbox and PC.
Pre-Order Bonuses — What You Get for Ordering Early
Pre-ordering FH6 gets you a bonus car exclusive to pre-orders, delivered to whatever account you pre-order on. The higher editions stack additional bonuses on top. The Premium Edition is the only one with early access — usually 3-5 days before the official release date, which is the main reason hardcore players pre-order. If early access doesn't matter to you, there's no downside to waiting for launch-week reviews and buying then; the pre-order car is rarely anything special performance-wise, and it usually returns later via the Forzathon Shop or a seasonal reward.
One caution: pre-order bonuses are tied to the platform you buy on. A Deluxe pre-order on Steam does not give you the Deluxe content on Xbox, even with the same Microsoft account. DLC and bonus cars are storefront-specific, not account-wide. See the cross-save guide for the full breakdown of what syncs and what doesn't.
Where to Buy — Store Comparison
- Microsoft Store / Xbox App — Best if you want cross-save between Xbox and PC. Also the only PC option with Xbox Play Anywhere. Game Pass integration makes it the cheapest entry point.
- Steam — Best if you only play on PC and want Steam features (Steam Deck, Workshop, friends, sales). Save is locked to Steam — no cross-save to Xbox.
- PlayStation Store — Best if PS5 is your platform. Full DualSense support. Save stays on PlayStation, no cross-save.
- Physical retailers (Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy) — Available for console versions if you prefer discs or want trade-in value later. Physical copies still require the full download since the disc is just a license key.
