FH6 Legendary Cars: The Rarest & Most Valuable Vehicles

Published: May 14, 2026 · 8 min read

What Makes a Car "Legendary"?

In Forza Horizon 6, cars are classified by rarity tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Legendary-tier cars are the rarest and most valuable vehicles in the game. They typically have special historical significance, extreme real-world value, exclusive availability, or unique performance characteristics. Many Legendary cars cannot be purchased from the Autoshow and are only obtainable through specific means — Festival Playlist rewards, Wheelspins, Barn Finds, Story completions, or the Auction House.

This guide lists every Legendary-tier car in FH6 as of Series 1, explains how to obtain each one, their approximate market value, and whether they are worth grinding for.

How to Get Legendary Cars: Method Breakdown

Barn Finds (4 Legendary Cars)

Four of the 15 Barn Find cars are Legendary tier: Ferrari 250 GTO, McLaren F1, Lamborghini Miura, and Mercedes-Benz 300SL. These are all free to acquire — you just need to meet the rumour triggers and drive to the location. The Ferrari 250 GTO requires the most effort (all barn finds + Level 100), but it is also the most valuable car in the game. See our dedicated Barn Finds guide for exact locations and trigger conditions.

Festival Playlist Exclusives

Each Series introduces 2-3 new Legendary cars as playlist rewards. These are time-limited — once the Series ends, the cars become unavailable until they return in a future playlist (typically 6-12 months later) or appear in Wheelspins. The 80% completion reward is usually a returning Legendary, while the 100% completion reward is a brand-new exclusive. Check the Festival Playlist tab each Thursday to see what is available.

Wheelspin / Super Wheelspin Only

The "Holy Trinity" of hybrid hypercars — LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and Porsche 918 Spyder — are Wheelspin-exclusive. You cannot buy them from the Autoshow. Your best bet is to accumulate Super Wheelspins through Car Mastery perks (buy the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ for 60k credits and unlock its Super Wheelspin perk for 4 Skill Points — this is the most efficient Wheelspin farming method in the game).

Horizon Story Rewards

Completing specific Horizon Stories at 100% rewards Legendary cars. The Porsche 917K (Legends of Le Mans) and Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger (Cinema on Wheels) are standouts. These stories take 2-4 hours to complete and the cars are guaranteed — no RNG involved.

Autoshow Purchases

A few Legendary cars can be bought directly from the Autoshow: the Koenigsegg Jesko (2.8M), Mercedes-AMG ONE (2.7M), and Rimac Concept Two (2.4M). These are expensive but available to anyone with enough credits. If you see them on the Auction House for less than the Autoshow price, buy them immediately — they are being sold at a loss by players who won them in Wheelspins.
