FH6 Credit Farming — Complete Money Making Guide
Credits are the bottleneck for everything in FH6. The Autoshow alone demands over 140 million credits if you buy every car. Throw in auction house sniping for rare seasonal exclusives and property purchases, and you're staring at 200+ million credits to truly finish the game. You can earn that through natural play over about 18 months, or you can optimize your credit income and do it in a few weeks of focused grinding.
I've tested every method discussed in the community and timed them with a stopwatch. Here are the real CR/hour numbers, the setup required for each method, and which one you should be using based on where you are in the game.
Credit Farming Methods — Ranked by CR/Hour
S-Tier: 1,000,000+ CR/Hour
1. Goliath AFK (Auto-Drive) — ~1,200,000 CR/Hour
The most controversial method in FH6. Set up a self-driving tune with maxed-out assists (auto-steering, auto-braking, full racing line), enter the Goliath circuit (the longest road race on the map at roughly 40 miles per lap), and let the car drive itself. Each lap takes about 12 minutes at S2 pace and pays roughly 240,000 CR with all credit boosts active. Over an hour that's 5 laps or 1.2 million credits.
Required setup: A maxed-out S2 or X class car with a self-driving compatible tune. The BMW X5 M Forza Edition with its event credit boost is the meta choice. You need the Goliath race unlocked (requires reaching level 20 in road racing). VIP membership doubles the race credit payout. A credit-boost FE car stacks multiplicatively with VIP. The 1965 Mini Cooper with the "Clean Skills" mastery tree perk can sustain the skill chain for the entire lap, adding skill-point-based credits on top of the race payout.
Risk: Playground Games has occasionally patched the auto-drive functionality. It's currently working as of the latest update, but always test your tune in a short race before committing to an overnight AFK session.
2. Auction House Flipping — ~2,000,000 - 5,000,000 CR/Hour (Skill-Dependent)
The auction house is the only truly uncapped credit source in FH6. Buy low, sell high, basic economics — but the speed at which you can turn credits depends entirely on your knowledge of car values and market timing.
Method: Focus on seasonal exclusives. Every Thursday when a new series starts, buy any newly available cars that drop from the wheelspin pool or seasonal playlist. People who unlock them early list them immediately at minimum buyout because they don't know the value. Hold for 2-3 weeks until the series ends and supply dries up. Resell at 3-5x your buy-in. A single seasonal car flip can net 5-10 million credits.
Required setup: Starting capital of at least 5 million CR to buy multiple listings. Knowledge of which cars are new each series. Willingness to check the auction house 2-3 times per session. The advanced search filter is essential — filter by "new" listings under specific manufacturers to snag underpriced cars before anyone else sees them.
A-Tier: 500,000 - 1,000,000 CR/Hour
3. Skill Point to Wheelspin Conversion — ~800,000 CR/Hour
The mastery-tree-to-wheelspin pipeline. Buy specific cheap cars from the Autoshow (the 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS at 60,000 CR and 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am at 25,000 CR are the best conversion cars), farm skill points by drifting and destroying roadside objects in a multiplier car, spend 9-11 skill points per car to unlock the super wheelspin perk, and spin the wheelspins immediately. The expected value per super wheelspin is roughly 500,000-750,000 CR (detailed odds breakdown in our super wheelspin guide).
The math: 10 skill points = 1 super wheelspin = ~600,000 CR expected value. Skill points can be farmed at roughly 60-80 per hour using a maxed-out skill multiplier car on the airstrip or beach drag strip. That's 6-8 super wheelspins per hour of skill farming, or roughly 3.6-4.8 million CR expected value. Subtract the cost of buying donor cars (6 x 60,000 = 360,000 CR for Caymans), and you're clearing 800,000+ CR per effective hour when you factor in spinning time.
4. Seasonal Playlist Completion — ~600,000 CR/Hour (Time-Gated)
Each weekly playlist awards roughly 400,000-600,000 CR in direct credit rewards plus 1-2 super wheelspins and 3-5 regular wheelspins. Completing all playlist challenges takes 2-3 hours per week. The credits alone work out to about 200,000 CR/hour, but the wheelspins push the effective rate much higher. The catch: you can only do this once per week. Think of it as a weekly allowance rather than a farming method.
B-Tier: 200,000 - 500,000 CR/Hour
5. Goliath Manual Racing — ~400,000 CR/Hour
Same as the AFK method but you're actually driving. Slightly faster lap times (about 10 minutes per lap instead of 12), so roughly 6 laps per hour at 240,000 CR each. The advantage over AFK: you're also earning skill points, XP, and wheelspin XP from racing, which feed into other reward systems. If you enjoy driving the Goliath, this is the most well-rounded farming method.
6. Rivals Grinding — ~300,000 CR/Hour
Rivals mode pays credits per lap based on your lap time delta versus community times. A clean lap around a 2-minute circuit pays roughly 30,000-50,000 CR with VIP. At 3 laps per 5 minutes including loading screens, that's about 360,000 CR per hour. Rivals also earns significant XP (which converts to wheelspins at level-up), so the effective rate with wheelspin conversion is closer to 500,000 CR/hour. Best track for CR: any short circuit under 90 seconds per lap — Emerald Circuit and the Horizon Mexico Circuit are the go-to options.
C-Tier: Under 200,000 CR/Hour
7. EventLab Custom Races
Community-created tracks sometimes offer inflated payouts if the creator set the credit reward slider to max. But these are inconsistent, and many have been patched out. Only worth doing when a specific high-payout EventLab is actively circulating in the community and hasn't been nerfed yet. Check the FH6 subreddit for current recommendations — they change weekly.
8. Direct Wheelspin Purchases (Bad Value)
Never buy regular wheelspins from the Forzathon Shop for 40 FP. The expected return is 30,000 CR per spin — you're spending 40 Forzathon Points (worth roughly 80,000 CR in auction house car value) for a 30,000 CR return. Terrible conversion rate. Super wheelspins for 150 FP are slightly better but still a losing trade most of the time. Save FP for exclusive cars.
Credit Boost Stacking — How to Maximize Every Payout
FH6 has multiple credit boosts that stack multiplicatively, not additively. This matters hugely:
- Difficulty Bonus: Unbeatable AI increases race credit payout by 120% over Average. If you can reliably win on Unbeatable (or at least podium), this is the single biggest per-race boost
- VIP Membership: Doubles all race credit payouts. Applied after the difficulty multiplier
- Forza Edition Credit Boost Cars: Specific FE cars have "Event Credit Boost" — increases race credits by 20-40% depending on the car. This stacks with VIP
- Clean Racing Bonus: Up to 50% extra credits for racing without collisions. With full assists on (auto-braking, auto-steering), clean racing is trivially easy
- Long Race Bonus: Races longer than 10 minutes get a scaling bonus up to ~30% extra credits. The Goliath at 12 minutes maxes this out
Example stacking for Goliath: Base payout ~100,000 CR (Unbeatable difficulty) + 120% difficulty bonus = 120,000 CR. VIP doubles that to 240,000 CR. Credit-boost FE car adds 30% → 312,000 CR. Clean racing bonus 50% → 468,000 CR. Long race bonus 30% → ~608,000 CR theoretical max per lap. Realistic payout with a good but not perfect run is around 240,000-280,000 CR per lap.
Best Method for New Players vs Endgame
New players (under level 50, under 50 cars): Focus on seasonal playlist completion and manual Goliath racing. You need the XP from racing to unlock the game's systems, and the seasonal playlist gives you cars you'd otherwise have to buy. Don't touch the auction house yet — you don't know car values well enough to avoid overpaying.
Midgame (level 50-200, 50-200 cars): Skill point to wheelspin conversion is your sweet spot. You have enough credits to buy donor cars in bulk, enough perks unlocked to run a skill multiplier car effectively, and the wheelspin pool still has plenty of new cars you need for your collection.
Endgame (level 200+, 300+ cars): Auction house flipping. You know car values, you have starting capital, and you know which seasonal exclusives will appreciate. The wheelspin pool is too diluted with duplicates to be efficient anymore. Your credits should be working for you through market trades, not driving in circles.
