FH6 Beginner Tuning: Copy-Paste Recipes for Every Class

Tuning in FH6 looks like calculus if you've never done it. Tire pressure, camber angles, gear ratios, differential settings — the tuning menu has 26 sliders and most of them change things in ways that aren't obvious until you've tested 50 different values. I've done that testing. Here are the exact numbers to plug in for a car that handles well in every class. These aren't world-record leaderboard tunes — they're "my car stops spinning out in corners and I can actually win races" tunes. Five minutes per car, guaranteed to work.

Universal Rule: AWD Conversion First

Before you touch any tuning slider, go to the Upgrades tab → Drivetrain → Drivetrain Swap → AWD. AWD cars accelerate faster out of corners, don't spin out under power, and are roughly 2 seconds per lap faster on average across every track type in FH6. The only exception is dedicated drift builds (RWD is correct for drifting). For everything else — road racing, dirt, cross country, speed zones, danger signs — AWD is the right answer. The drivetrain swap costs about 50K credits per car and adds roughly 30 PI. Budget for it, then tune.

S2 Class (901-998 PI) — Grip Build for Hypercars

Use on: Koenigsegg Jesko, Bugatti Chiron, Mosler MT900S, Rimac Nevera, any hypercar.

S1 Class (801-900 PI) — Balanced Road Build

Use on: Nissan GT-R, Ferrari FXX-K Evo, McLaren Senna, any S1 supercar.

A Class (701-800 PI) — All-Purpose Workhorse

This is the most popular online class and the most competitive. Use on: Subaru WRX STI, BMW M3, Honda NSX, Nissan Skyline. This recipe prioritizes corner exit speed over top speed — you win A-class races by carrying speed through corners, not by having the highest straight-line speed.

B Class (601-700 PI) — Grip Over Power

B-class races are won by not braking. Use on: Mazda MX-5, Honda S2000, Toyota Sprinter Trueno, any light RWD car converted to AWD.
