So one car, you get the idea. Trust me on this. That's it. Dodge's entire FH6 lineup is a single vehicle and honestly that's kind of perfect. Because the Challenger SRT Demon at PI 840 doesn't need company. It's the most committed car in the game , a drag-strip weapon that Dodge built for one thing and one thing only: making the quarter mile disappear as fast as physics allows. 1,025 horsepower on race gas. Trans brake from the factory. A suspension calibrated for weight transfer under launch, not for cornering. This thing was never meant to turn. And yet here it is, in a handling game, somehow working.
And i've spent more hours in the Demon than I care to admit and tbh it's the most polarizing car I've driven in FH6. Half the players think it's unusable. The other half have figured out that "unusable" just means "requires a completely different driving style than every other car in the game." Both are right. Let me explain why.
So one car, S1 class, and it demands more from you as a driver than anything else in the bracket. You get out what you put in. No shortcuts.
Available Vehicles

A single entry at PI 840 that redefines what S1 class can feel like. No filler, no overlap, just the Demon doing its one thing better than anyone expected.
A one-car brand is unusual in FH6 but the Demon makes the case for quality over quantity. Playground Games may add more Dodges through seasonal content , a Viper ACR or a Charger Hellcat would be incredible , but the Demon alone already offers a driving experience you literally cannot get from any other brand.
Driving Characteristics
So the Demon weighs over 1,900 kilograms. Let that sink in. Nearly two tons of American steel with over a thousand horsepower going to the rear wheels only. Every textbook says this combination should produce a car that goes fast in a straight line and crashes in every corner. And on the stock setup? The textbooks aren't wrong. The first time you turn the wheel at speed the Demon communicates one thing very clearly: "I would rather not."
But here's what the textbooks miss. And the Demon's weight is distributed roughly 56 percent over the front axle. That's actually not terrible for a muscle car. Most of the mass sits low in the chassis because that's where the engine and transmission live. And the suspension, despite being calibrated for drag launches, has enough range to be retuned for handling without completely starting over. The Demon can corner. It just doesn't want to out of the box. The steering is heavy and slow by S1 standards. The turn-in requires commitment because the front tires are fighting nearly 1,100 kilos of nose weight. You can't throw the Demon into corners like a GT3 RS. You guide it. Deliberately. And if you try to force a faster rotation the car pushes wide and loses all its speed for the exit. Smoothness isn't optional in the Demon. It's survival.
And corner exit is where the Demon stops being a liability and becomes a weapon. The rear suspension squats under power and the massive rear tires , 315-section from the factory , find grip that shouldn't exist with this much horsepower. When the weight transfers rearward under acceleration the Demon transforms. The nose lifts, the rear plants, and suddenly you're gaining three car lengths on cars that should be faster through the same section. The corner exit acceleration on this thing is genuinely broken. I've clocked it against S1 meta cars and the Demon gaps everything from the apex to the next braking zone. Including cars with better power-to-weight ratios on paper. The launch physics in FH6 heavily favor cars that can squat and hook up and the Demon is purpose-built to do exactly that.
So braking is the Demon's biggest weakness and it's not close. Nearly two tons moving at S1 speeds requires enormous stopping distances. The stock brakes are adequate for road use but in racing conditions you'll find yourself braking 20 to 30 meters earlier than mid-engine S1 cars for the same corner. That gap is kill-or-be-killed in online lobbies where late braking wins positions. Race brakes are the single most important upgrade on this car and I'd argue they're more valuable than power mods. You can't use 1,025 horsepower if you can't slow down for the corner that comes after the straight.
But the engine is the star and everything else is supporting cast. The supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi delivers torque the way a sledgehammer delivers force , instantly, violently, and with zero subtlety. From 2,000 RPM to the redline the power curve is less a curve and more a plateau. You don't manage revs in the Demon. You manage traction. Every gear change is an opportunity to break the rear tires loose and every corner exit is a negotiation between your right foot and the laws of physics. Short-shifting at 5,500 RPM actually produces faster lap times than revving to redline because the torque plateau means you're not losing power and you're gaining control. Took me embarrassingly long to figure that out.
And tire compound on the Demon works differently than lighter cars. Soft compounds improve cornering grip measurably but the weight of the car destroys them faster. In a 5-lap race on soft tires, by lap 4 the grip degradation is noticeable enough to cost you positions. Medium compounds are the sweet spot for race distance. Soft for qualifying laps and time trials where you only need one clean lap. The Demon makes you think about tire strategy in a way that lighter cars never force you to.
Best Events
The Demon is a road racing car built by accident. It's naturally a drag car but FH6 doesn't revolve around drag racing and the Demon actually works best on circuits with long straights interrupted by medium-speed corners. Coastal Highway is the standout track. Long straights let the engine stretch and the corners are fast enough that the Demon's weight doesn't punish you too badly. Guanajuato is the Demon's nightmare , tight corners with constant direction changes are the exact opposite of what this chassis wants to do.
So street scene events are surprisingly good for the Demon. The reason is specific: traffic checks force short braking zones, which means you're accelerating from low speed more often. And accelerating from low speed is the Demon's entire personality. AI traffic becomes an advantage because it creates exactly the kind of start-stop rhythm where the Demon's brutal corner exit matters most. Street scene with the Demon feels like you're cheating in the straights and barely surviving the corners. The lap times work out.
But drag racing at the festival strip. This is the Demon's home territory and it shows. With proper gearing and launch control the Demon is genuinely competitive against purpose-built drag builds in S1. The trans brake feature (yes, FH6 models it) gives you a launch advantage that most cars in the bracket can't match. If drag racing is your thing, the Demon is one of the best S1 choices available.
And dirt. Cross-country. Anything that isn't paved. The Demon's ground clearance is terrible and the rear tires that work so well on asphalt become skates on loose surfaces. You can install rally suspension and off-road tires but at that point you've spent PI on modifications that take the car further from what makes it special. Keep the Demon on pavement. It's a one-surface car and that's fine.
Tuning Guide
So tuning the Demon is about managing its extremes. The power is already there. The weight is already there. Your job isn't to add more of anything , it's to make the existing package work as a complete car instead of a straight-line specialist. The single biggest tuning philosophy shift for the Demon: you're not making it faster. You're making it drivable across a full lap. Speed comes from that.
Tire Pressure
So drop 3 PSI front and rear for circuit racing. One more PSI than I recommend for lighter cars because the Demon's weight needs the extra contact patch more. The front tires in particular need help with turn-in bite and lower pressure is the easiest way to get it. For drag racing and highway sprints, bump up 2 PSI rear only. More pressure in the rear reduces rolling resistance and the Demon's weight already provides more than enough rear grip in a straight line. Circuit setup and drag setup are completely different. Don't mix them.
Suspension
So stock Demon springs are calibrated for drag launches with soft rears that squat under power and stiff fronts that resist front-end lift. For circuit racing you need to reverse this philosophy. Soften front springs by 15 percent to give the nose more compliance over bumps in braking zones. Stiffen rear springs by 10 percent to reduce the squat that feels great on exit but costs you on corner entry where weight transfer rearward makes the car understeer. Anti-roll bars: stiffen front bar two clicks, soften rear bar one click. The Demon's natural tendency is understeer everywhere and this bar configuration is the cheapest way to fight it. Ride height: leave it at stock. Lowering the Demon reduces weight transfer under acceleration and weight transfer is your friend on exit.
Differential
So rWD only. 100 percent rear. Acceleration lock at 90 percent , higher than almost any other car I recommend because the Demon's torque output overwhelms standard diff settings. At 75 percent lock one wheel still spins under hard acceleration and you lose drive. At 90 percent the power reaches both rear tires and the car actually hooks up. Deceleration lock at 10 percent. The Demon needs to rotate freely on corner entry and any decel lock fights the turn-in that's already a struggle. This is one of the few cars where I recommend nearly zero decel lock.
Gearing
So shorten final drive by 15 percent from stock. This is more aggressive than any other car in the game and there's a reason. The Demon's stock gearing is set for a theoretical top speed over 200 mph. On FH6 tracks you'll never reach that speed and the first four gears are too long for circuit racing. Shortening the final drive by 15 percent puts you in the torque band faster out of every corner and eliminates the awkward gap between second and third gear that plagues the stock setup. For drag racing, leave gearing stock. The long ratios are actually correct for the quarter mile. Different discipline, different gearing, same car.
Brakes
So race brakes are not optional on the Demon. They're the most important upgrade on the car. Period. The stock brakes are barely adequate for a vehicle of this weight and speed capability. With race brakes you can brake 15 meters deeper into every corner and on a car that needs every meter of stopping distance it can get, that's the difference between making the corner and visiting the barrier. Upgraded brakes also reduce fade over race distance, which matters because the Demon's weight generates more brake heat than lighter S1 cars. Brakes first. Then handling. Then power. This order exists for a reason and the Demon proves the reason more dramatically than any other car.
Rival Comparison
So the Demon's closest rival in S1 is the Camaro ZL1 at PI 810 in A class. Both are supercharged American muscle cars. The Demon has more power and better straight-line speed. The ZL1 handles better because it carries less weight and has a more modern chassis. And the Demon is faster on tracks with long straights. But the ZL1 is faster on technical circuits. Pick your poison based on the track, not the spec sheet.
But honestly though, the Demon doesn't really have a true rival in FH6. It exists in its own category. No other car combines 1,000-plus horsepower with nearly two tons of curb weight and a factory drag-racing pedigree. The closest comparisons are other supercharged muscle cars but none of them are as extreme in either direction. The Demon is the most powerful and the heaviest. That combination creates a driving experience that doesn't feel like anything else in S1 and whether you love it or hate it, you won't forget it. Run the Demon back to back with a ZL1 or a Dark Horse on the same circuit. The lap times might be similar but the experience won't be.
Collection Guide
But one car means the collection is trivial. If the Demon is in the Autoshow, buy it with credits and you're done. If it's a seasonal reward, complete that week's playlist and the car is yours. A single-car brand has the advantage of zero collection complexity.
And the potential complication is if the Demon rotates out of availability. Seasonal rewards follow Playground Games' schedule and missing a Demon rotation could mean months of waiting. The auction house is the backup plan but with only one Dodge in the game, supply is limited. When the Demon is available through any channel, get it immediately. Don't wait. Don't assume it'll be there next week. One-car brands are easy to complete but also easy to miss if you're not paying attention. Set a reminder and don't skip the playlist week.
Common Tuning Mistakes
And power before handling on a car that already has too much power for its chassis. The Demon comes from the factory with 1,025 horsepower. Adding more power before you've fixed the suspension is like adding rocket fuel to a car with bicycle tires. The power is already the bottleneck. Traction is what you need to add. Tires, suspension, differential , these three categories unlock the Demon's potential. Horsepower mods just make it harder to drive without going any faster.
So tuning it like a normal S1 car. The Demon is not a normal S1 car. The spring rates, damper settings, and differential values that work on a GT3 RS or a Corvette will make the Demon undrivable. You need softer front springs than lighter cars. And you need more diff lock than lighter cars. You need more aggressive gearing changes than lighter cars. Every tuning dimension scales differently because of the weight. Treat the Demon as its own category with its own rulebook and you'll stop fighting the same battles over and over.
But skipping brakes. This is a tuning sin on any car but on the Demon it's unforgivable. The weight means stock brakes are overwhelmed after two hard stops. Race brakes aren't a luxury upgrade on this car. They're the difference between making the corner and becoming a very expensive projectile. Braking 15 meters later into every corner adds up to seconds per lap and on the Demon those seconds are the difference between competitive and embarrassing. Brakes first. Every single build. No exceptions.
