Route & Entry Point

The Coastal Cliffside speed zone runs along the clifftop road on the eastern shore. The zone starts just south of the sharp left-hander and ends past the short straight after the second hairpin. The recommended approach is to enter from the south, building speed on the coastal straight before the first corner.

The zone has two critical sections: a tight right-hairpin near the start, and a faster left sweeper about halfway through. Most of the average speed is lost in the first hairpin if you take a bad line. A wide entry with late apex is essential to carry speed through.

Best Cars for Coastal Cliffside Speed Zone

The short length and tight corners favor cars with strong acceleration out of slow corners rather than top speed. S2-class or X-class cars with AWD swaps are the safest bet.

Tuning Setup

For the Coastal Cliffside zone, prioritise corner exit grip over top speed. The zone is short enough that you spend more time accelerating out of turns than maxing out.

Driving Line Breakdown

Corner 1 — Right Hairpin

Approach from the far left, brake from ~140 mph to ~55 mph. Trail brake into the corner to keep weight on the front tires. Hit the apex about ¾ of the way around, then fully open throttle on exit. Key mistake: braking too late and understeering wide — this costs 5-8 mph through the whole zone.

Corner 2 — Left Sweeper

Short straight after the hairpin — get 2 quick upshifts before braking. This corner is faster and wider. Brake to ~75 mph, apex mid-corner, get on throttle early. The road camber helps grip on exit.

Final Straight

Hold full throttle to the zone end. If you carried 85+ mph through the second corner, you should hit 98+ mph average easily.
