FH6 Rain Racing — Drive Fast in Wet Conditions

Rain in FH6 reduces grip by 30-40% across all tire types. It changes braking distances and makes certain cars go from dominant to undrivable.

Tire Selection

Race tires lose the most grip in rain — minimal tread, designed for dry. Sport tires are best all-around wet choice. Rally and off-road tires surprisingly work well on wet tarmac because the tread channels water. If rain is forecast, switch to sport tires even if it costs PI.

Driving in Rain

Smooth inputs only. Every abrupt input is more likely to break traction. Brake earlier and gentler. Turn in smoother. Feed throttle progressively — 20-30% more gradual than dry. AWD dominates. RWD requires extreme throttle discipline. FWD is surprisingly good because front wheels maintain steering grip even when spinning.

Avoid puddles. Drive around if possible. Through if necessary, but straight-line only — no steering or braking inputs in standing water.
