FH6 Jump Landing — Fly Far, Land Fast
Jumps aren't just style points. Mid-air control, landing angle, and throttle timing determine whether you gain time or land on your roof.
Mid-Air Control
Left stick: car pitch and yaw. Right stick: camera only. Goal: land with all four wheels level, pointed in direction of travel. Nose-down = bounce and speed loss. Nose-up = wheelie and control loss. Sideways = snap spin on landing.
Throttle in air pitches nose up slightly. Brake tap pitches nose down. Fine-tune landing angle with throttle/brake taps during long jumps.
Landing
Land on 60-70% throttle to maintain momentum. Zero throttle kills speed. Full throttle on bumps causes wheelspin. Aim for slight downhill landing — slope absorbs impact and converts downward momentum to forward. Level landing on all four wheels = absorption, immediate grip, as if the jump never happened.
