FH6 Best Electric Cars — EVs Ranked by Performance

Electric cars in FH6 are a divisive topic. Half the player base treats them like a cheat code — instant torque, no gear shifts, AWD grip from four independent motors, and launch acceleration that makes V12 hypercars look like they stalled on the line. The other half refuses to drive them on principle because electric cars don't make noise and Forza is supposed to be about the sound and fury of combustion engines. Both sides have a point.

The reality is that EVs in FH6 are genuinely competitive at the highest levels, but they come with tradeoffs that the spec sheet doesn't show you. The weight is the big one. Batteries are heavy and FH6's physics engine models that honestly. An EV at 998 PI might have 2,000 horsepower but it also weighs 2,200 kilograms, and every one of those kilos fights you through corners. This guide ranks every EV in the game by actual performance, not marketing numbers, and covers the tuning differences you need to know.

S Tier — The Best EVs in FH6

1. Rimac Nevera — Best Overall EV

1,914 horsepower. Four electric motors, one per wheel. 0-60 in 1.74 seconds. Quarter mile in 8.25 seconds. The Nevera holds more acceleration records than I have space to list and FH6 models every one of them. The torque vectoring system in the game is simplified compared to the real car but the effect is the same — point the steering wheel, floor the throttle, and the computers distribute power to whichever wheel has grip. It's the easiest S2 car to drive fast in FH6. The learning curve is essentially flat.

The downside is weight. 2,150 kg. On tight circuits the Nevera pushes wide on corner exit because mass doesn't change direction easily regardless of how clever your torque vectoring is. On fast sweeping tracks like the Goliath or highway loops, the weight matters less and the power advantage dominates. Tuning: you can't engine swap, you can't change the transmission. Focus all your PI on weight reduction, race tires, and aero. Anti-roll bars at 1 front and 65 rear — this sounds backwards but it lets the rear rotate under power while the soft front bar keeps the nose planted. Spring rates should be softer than you think so the weight transfer works with you rather than against you. Available at the Autoshow for 2 million credits.

2. Lotus Evija — Lightest Hyper EV

The Evija is what happens when Lotus builds an electric hypercar: it prioritizes weight over everything else. 1,680 kg — nearly 500 kg lighter than the Nevera. Four electric motors making a combined 2,000 horsepower. The carbon fiber monocoque weighs 129 kg. In FH6 the Evija handles like an electric car shouldn't be able to handle. The turn-in is sharp, the mid-corner balance is neutral, and the weight doesn't punish you on corner exit the way it does in the Nevera.

The tradeoff is top speed. The Evija tops out around 230 mph compared to the Nevera's 258. On highway tracks the Nevera wins. On technical circuits the Evija is the better car. Tuning: max downforce both ends, final drive around 4.00, tire pressure 29 PSI. The Evija rewards aggressive driving — you can throw it into corners harder than the weight suggests. A Tier — Competitive But Flawed

3. Porsche Taycan Turbo S — Best Production EV

The Taycan Turbo S is the most realistic EV in FH6 and that's both its strength and its weakness. 750 horsepower from two electric motors, AWD, a two-speed transmission on the rear axle that gives it actual gear changes. In FH6 the Taycan competes in S1 class and it's a genuine contender on tracks with lots of medium-speed corners. The instant torque from the electric motors means you're always in the power band because there is no power band — just go.

Weight is 2,300 kg and you feel it. The Taycan understeers on corner entry if you carry too much speed, which you will because the acceleration makes every corner feel slower than it is. Braking distances are longer than the PI rating suggests because stopping 2,300 kg takes real distance. Tuning: soften the front anti-roll bar to fight understeer. Stiffen the rear to help rotation. Tire pressure 29 front, 27 rear. Autoshow price around 185,000 credits.

4. Tesla Model S Plaid — The Drag Strip King

1,020 horsepower. Three electric motors. 0-60 in 1.99 seconds. The Model S Plaid is a one-trick car and that trick is acceleration. In FH6 drag racing the Plaid is dominant in its PI bracket because the instant torque and AWD grip mean it launches harder than anything with a clutch. The quarter mile time is genuinely competitive with dedicated drag builds. Beyond the drag strip the Plaid is unremarkable. The chassis is a four-door sedan platform, the weight is 2,200 kg, and the handling is competent but not exciting. Build it for drag racing and leave it there. Tuning: drag tires, minimum weight reduction, max tire width rear, final drive set for the quarter mile. Don't try to make it handle. Autoshow around 130,000 credits.

B Tier — Niche EVs

5. Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 — Drift EV

Ford built seven Mach-E 1400 prototypes as engineering exercises and one of them is in FH6. 1,400 horsepower, seven electric motors, a hydraulic handbrake, and a drift setup from the factory. This is the best EV drift car in the game not because it's the most powerful but because it was designed for exactly this use case. The weight distribution is adjustable in real life and FH6 approximates that through tuning. Tuning: drift suspension, drift tires, stiff rear springs, soft front springs. Lock the differential at 100% if the tune allows. The electric motors respond to throttle input faster than any combustion engine, which means you can modulate angle with throttle alone once you get the feel for it. Seasonal reward, not always available.

6. Extreme E Spark ODYSSEY 21 — Off-Road EV

The ODYSSEY 21 is the spec chassis from the Extreme E racing series — electric SUVs racing in remote locations. In FH6 it's a dedicated off-road machine with 550 horsepower and a suspension setup designed for jumps, rocks, and dirt. Competes in A-class off-road events. Better on rough terrain than any road-derived electric SUV because the chassis was built for it. Limited tuning options because it's a spec race car. Seasonal reward.

EV Tuning — What's Different

EVs in FH6 can't be engine swapped and most can't have their transmission changed. Your PI budget goes entirely to weight reduction, tires, suspension, and aero. This limits build variety but also simplifies tuning — there's no paralysis from too many options.

Weight reduction is the single most important upgrade for every EV on this list. Every kilogram you remove improves acceleration, braking, cornering, and tire wear simultaneously. Prioritize weight reduction over power upgrades when they're available.

Suspension tuning for EVs skews softer than you'd use for a comparable ICE car. The weight of the battery pack means the car needs time to settle into corners. Stiff suspension on a heavy car just skips over bumps and loses contact with the road. Let the weight transfer happen gradually.

Tire pressure: run slightly lower in the rear on AWD EVs. The instant torque spike at corner exit can overwhelm cold rear tires. Lower pressure increases the contact patch and gives the tire more time to warm up. 27-28 PSI rear, 29-30 front is a good starting point for most EVs.

The EV Sound Problem

Let's address it. EVs in FH6 don't make engine noise. Some players cannot get past this and I understand why. The sound of a combustion engine at full throttle is a core part of the driving experience for a lot of people. If engine noise is essential to your enjoyment of FH6, skip the EVs. There's no fix for this — it's an inherent characteristic of electric powertrains. The game adds some synthetic motor whine and tire noise but it's not the same. If you're willing to trade audio drama for competitive advantage, the cars above will win you races. If sound matters more than lap time, stick with combustion engines and enjoy the music.
