The ZL1 is one of those classic 'skill check' cars in FH6 — drive it well and your throttle control is solid, drive it badly and it's a donut machine. The supercharged V8 is nothing like a turbo: throttle response has zero lag, you get exactly what you ask for, with none of that turbo spool-up cushion. For beginners that's lethal, because it's easy to give it too much by accident; for experienced players it's the best feedback there is.

Tuning Parameters — Every Setting Explained

Tire Pressure

Front 2.1 bar / Rear 1.9 bar. The rear runs lower because the rear tires heat up extremely fast on launch and corner exit. With cold rear pressure 0.2 lower than the front, both ends settle into a similar temperature range once warm.

Transmission

Final drive ratio 3.91. The key is tightening gears 3–4–5, the three you'll use most on track. The supercharger sounds like tearing metal at high rpm, and the close ratios are there so you get to hear more of it.

Alignment
