The Bolide is one of those FH6 cars you have to learn to respect first. 1825 horsepower pushing 1240 kg — a power-to-weight ratio wilder than an F1 car. Flooring it feels like a giant slapping you across the back. Honestly, the first time I drove it, I went full throttle in third gear and the rear tires spun all the way through sixth — the whole screen filled with white smoke. Not exaggerating, I genuinely couldn't control it.
But the Bolide's biggest weapon isn't horsepower — it's aero. Its aero design is straight out of an LMP1 prototype, generating nearly two tons of downforce at 300 km/h. What does that mean? It means you don't have to lift in fast corners — the air pressure pins the car to the ground, and its apex speed is faster than anything else out there.
The stock weaknesses are low-speed corners — when the aero isn't working, the 1240 kg body lacks mechanical grip — and the brakes, because stopping 1800 hp is no joke. Tuning fixes a good chunk of both.

The S2 998 Track build is my most recommended config. The X-class numbers look pretty but are completely useless in practice — no track gives you a 400+ km/h straight. The Track build's 1980 hp plus its aero tune is basically a dimension-cheat in S2 online ranked.
Tuning Parameters — Every Setting Explained
Tire Pressure
Front 2.0 bar / Rear 1.9 bar. On track I run slicks, which heat up extremely fast. Start with slightly lower pressures, and after two laps the temps come up right into the optimal window.
Transmission
Final drive ratio 3.20. The W16's torque plateau is absurdly wide, so you don't need close ratios. The key is maxing out the gap between 6th and 7th — hold 5th through fast corners with steady throttle, then let 6th and 7th rip down the straights.
Alignment
Front Toe -0.3 / Rear Toe -0.2, Front Camber -2.5 / Rear Camber -2.2, Caster 7.0 degrees. The negative camber is very aggressive because the huge downforce in fast corners compresses the suspension all the way to the bottom of its travel.
Anti-Roll Bars
Front 25.0 / Rear 35.0. The rear is nearly 50% stiffer than the front. The reason: the Bolide's rear axle generates far more downforce than the front in fast corners, so it needs a stiffer rear anti-roll bar to match.
Springs
Front 580 / Rear 750 (lbs/in). The rear springs are clearly stiffer — to counteract the massive rear-axle downforce in fast corners.
Damping
Rebound Front 12.0 / Rear 14.0, Bump Front 8.0 / Rear 10.0. This is the stiffest damping set in the lineup. The heavy high-speed bump damping is there to resist how quickly the aero slams the car down.
Aero
Max out both front and rear downforce. Don't hesitate — the Bolide lives on aero.
Brakes
Brake balance 50%, pressure 140% maxed out. The kinetic energy of 1800 hp is real — braking from 200 km/h to 60 km/h takes about 30 meters more than a normal sports car.
Differential
Front diff Accel 60% / Decel 30%, Rear diff Accel 85% / Decel 40%, center diff 50% rearward. The 50:50 center split is because low-speed corners need front-axle grip.
Driving Tips
Three iron rules for the Bolide. Rule one: slow in, fast out on low-speed corners — don't get greedy. Aero does nothing at low speed, and at 1240 kg the car only has mechanical grip to work with in the corner. Rule two: keep it pinned through fast corners. In corners above 250 km/h, the downforce is big enough that you can hold full throttle. Rule three: brake early — very early. Starting your braking 50–80 meters before everyone else is not embarrassing. One last warning — this car is completely undrivable in the rain. At 1240 kg with extreme downforce settings, once it slips on a wet surface it's basically unrecoverable.
