Acura in Forza Horizon 6

Acura

I have been messing around with Acura in Fh6 for a while now, honestly. Honda's fancy division, the nsx and type s stuff. Y'know the deal.

Look, Acura only has 1 vehicle in Fh6 right now. Kinda slim lineup tbh. But I have found the one car they do have is actually legit in the right hands. Not a meta pick or anything, just solid.

Available Vehicles

NSX (2017)

Class: S1 | PI: 870

What Makes Acura Special

I always feather the throttle coming out of slow corners in my Acura. The acceleration, thats what gets me every time. Corners are where it really wakes up, basic as that sounds.

And for tuning, I have found softening the rear springs just a touch really helps on these cars. But here is the thing, aero wash will mess you up bad if you push too hard without a proper setup. No joke.

Best Events for Acura

In my experience Acura cars do best in road racing events. I have also seen some builds go kinda crazy in drift zones with the right tune, fr.

Anyway, thats what I got.

Best Events for Acura

So I finally got myself an Acura, and the first thing I wondered was where to actually race this thing. For road circuits, I have found they handle best on medium to high-speed tracks with smooth corners. The Acura NSX in particular is kinda broken on tracks like the Coastal Highway and Mountain Pass circuits, you can really stretch its legs there. Street scene events are also decent since I noticed these cars pull hard out of corners. But honestly, I would stay away from dirt racing unless you got some specific rally tune going, most Acura cars are built for asphalt and the offroad handling is just, like, terrible.

For online racing, I would say Acura in S1 class is competitive but not OP or anything. You can hold your own against similar tier cars for sure. But the tuning is the whole thing really, a stock Acura works fine for solo but you need proper gearing and suspension for multiplayer if you wanna actually win. I usually set my final drive a bit longer than stock on these cars cause they top out way too early on fast tracks. Yep.

Tuning Tips for Acura

Honestly tuning Acura cars is more about small tweaks than a full rebuild. These things come decent from the factory, and I mean most of the gains I have seen come from tiny adjustments, not massive overhauls. Start with tire pressure, I drop it 2 PSI from stock for better grip on technical circuits, or bump it up 1 PSI for top speed runs. The suspension on my Acura felt kinda stiff on Fh6 bumpy roads, so I softened the springs by about 10 percent and it actually handled better. Go figure.

For the diff, I run a bit more rear bias on these, try 65 percent rear on AWD and 100 percent rear on RWD. And the anti-roll bars, I set them one click softer than stock in front and one click stiffer in the rear. This basically dials out that annoying understeer Acura cars get on corner entry. Gearing is where I spend most of my tuning time honestly, Acura gearboxes are set up for real world speeds but Fh6 tracks are shorter and tighter, so I shorten the final drive for better punch out of slow corners. Big difference tbh.

How Acura Compares to Rivals

In Fh6 roster, Acura sits in a weird spot among the 2 vehicles from Japan. Compared to other brands in the same class, I think Acura has a driving feel you either vibe with or absolutely hate. Some players I know swear by these things for certain track types, others wont touch em. My honest advice? Drive a few different brands back to back on the same track and see which handling model clicks for you. Spreadsheet numbers dont tell you how a car actually feels through a corner, like, at all.

Collecting Tips

If you are trying to collect every Acura in Fh6, I would say start with the Autoshow cars, those are the easiest, just buy em with credits. The wheelspin exclusive ones though, thats the real grind and there is no guaranteed way to get them. Honestly I check the auction house all the time, especially weekends when more players list stuff. For seasonal reward Acura cars, you just gotta wait for them to cycle back in the festival playlist. Set a reminder in the game and do not miss that week, I have seen it take months before something comes back around. For real.

Common Tuning Mistakes with This Brand

I see people butcher Acura tunes constantly, and look, the biggest mistake is maxing every upgrade without thinking about how it all fits together. A fully maxed Acura with 1500 horsepower is basically useless if you cant put the power down. Y'know? Traction is everything in Fh6, and I have learned the hard way that Acura cars need proper tire and suspension upgrades before you even think about chasing horsepower numbers. Another thing I see all the time is people skipping weight reduction, these cars are already heavy and shedding a hundred kilos is worth way more lap time than adding 50 horsepower. Start with handling mods, then add power. Oh and do not forget brake upgrades, seriously, being able to brake 10 meters later into every corner adds up to seconds per lap. No joke.
